Welcome!

Congratulations to your admission to the two-year MSc Programme Communication and Information Technology at Ulm University starting in summer semester 2025!

The official admission letter from the university has already been provided for you at My Campus Portal. You will have to present it when applying for your visa and also upon enrollment at Ulm University. The pdf document is legally valid. We no longer send paper-based admission letters because far too many of these got lost in the past. Please contact us if you happen to encounter difficulties in acceptance of the pdf document.

On the right you find some documents provided for download. Next to the important essential information there are a letter of acceptance and a housing request you are required to complete, sign and send by email to ci-tech-admission@uni-ulm.de by January 10, 2025 at the latest.

The Master's programme is taught entirely in English and does not require any knowledge of German. However, an intensive German language class will start on Monday, March 10, 2025, prior to the lecture period. All foreign students are required to participate in this class.

Please make travel arrangements so that you arrive in Ulm in early March, preferably between March 4 in the late afternoon (as we may only collect your dormitory keys in the course of Monday, 03 March) and March 09. You will also have to handle administrative details, like enrollment, in March during the preparatory period of the German language class. Make sure that your visa is valid from March 1 onwards.

Please be sure to review the below essential information carefully.

We will be happy to welcome you in Ulm this spring!

Orientation Programme

Your Orientation Programme starts on 10 March, 2025 and consists of events organized by three different institutions: our language center, the international office and the CIT office.
