Employment at the Study Commission Computer Science

Apply as a student assistant until 14 June 2024 directly via the student asistant job portal (in German: Hiwibörse). Assistant positions are advertised there.
Each application process (3-stage interaction between supervisor and applicant: application, acceptance by supervisor, final acceptance by applicant) must be completed by this date at the latest, so that the job portal automatically transfers the process to your administrative support to Ms Wainczyk (the hiring process starts).

Note on recruitment / submission of contract documents
The following information will be required from you in advance by e-mail:

  • Matriculation number
  • Date of birth
  • LBV personnel number (you will find this in the messages sent to you by the LBV if you have been previously employed at the university)
  • Do you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree?

The application deadline is 14 June 2024. Please be so kind as to send your complete documents (fully completed and signed) by e-mail in two PDF files by 21 June 2024.

Please follow the instructions in the provided checklist, which also contains the required LBV forms. 

Dates for employment for the winter term 2024/25:

  • You must have applied by 14 June 2024 at the latest, this is the deadline for applications.
  • Submit your complete documents by 21 June 2024 (electronically in 2 documents, without certificate of study).
  • Sign your contract by 19 July 2024 at the latest (please note: you must on site, with submission of the certificate of study in paper form)

It is not possible to start work without a signed contract, i.e. without fully completed contract formalities!

During the term of your contract, you are obliged to keep a record of working hours (in German: Arbeitszeitnachweis, short AZN) and submit it monthly via a portal of the study commission. You can find all necessary information and resources such as time sheets online.

  • For all others, the relevant institutes are directly responsible.
