With its Elite programme, the Baden-Württemberg Foundation supports excellent young scientists after completing their doctorate who are aiming for a career at the university (professorship) .

Precondition for an application is an independent and new research project. The call does not extend to the field of clinical medicine. Funding is limited to three years and extends to a maximum of € 150,000. Personnel, travel, material and investments are financed. The postdoc position itself may not be paid from the funds of the Elite programme.

University-internal deadline for declaration of intent: February 23, 2024

Based on the letter of intent, the four candidates who can submit their application to the Baden-Württemberg Foundation will be selected. The letter of intent must contain the following points:

1. Letter of motivation + summary of the research project (max. 2 pages)
2. Tabular CV
3. Publication list
4. Confirmation of the 10% contribution by the head of the institute
5. Proof of your own postion over the duration of the project
6. Application form (xls)

Without a letter of intent, incoming applications will not be considered.
