We made the most of the few rain-free days this summer. Firstly, the annual BBQ took place with employees, students and alumni. It was a wonderful evening and the icing on the cake was the home-brewed beer from our Kesselgold brewing group. It was also the farewell party for Lena Ränger, who has finished her postdoc and is now starting in industry.
A week later, we went hiking in the area around Blaubeuren in perfect weather. Wonderful forest, great caves, rocks and castles! At the end we visited the prehistoric museum in Blaubeuren and finished off at an Italian restaurant.
