In a joint research project together with BK Giullini GmbH / ICL Food Specialities we have been working on the investigation of the calcium-alginate reaction for the production of vegan protein fibers. This very fruitful cooperation led to the development of a massively improved manufacturing process, which has now been filed for patent under the title "A process for preparing an edible product from non-animal proteins".
