It's time to introduce the student university group ‘Kesselgold’. The occasion is favourable, as the current issue of U-Topic, the magazine of Ulm University, features a two-page report on their activities. The group has dedicated itself to brewing its own beer, a process with a long tradition in process engineering. For this reason, the brewing group is embedded in the infrastructure of the Thermal Process Technology working group. Brewing beer is an ideal way of combining the pleasant with the useful, as it allows students to apply and consolidate what they have learnt in lectures. And the end result is a tasty product.
