The interaction of HEIST students with visiting researchers form national and international institutions is important to exchange research ideas, to position one’s own research in a competitive environment and to establish a scientific network. HEIST students have multiple opportunities to interact with national and international visiting scientists / seminar speakers and benefit from their expertise due to the structure of IGradU. To further enhance international collaborations and visibility, HEIST offers this Visiting Researcher Program. Each year, one leading international scientist is recruited to become temporarily part of the HEIST qualification program by giving lectures and/or training courses in the oncology qualification program to improve networking and the discussion skills of the HEIST students.
