First Zurich Ulm Seminar

First Zurich-Ulm Seminar: Advanced Statistical Methods in Clinical Epidemiology, September 11-15, 2017

The seminar will be in the form of an international intensive program and is intended to be the first of an annual series of Zurich-Ulm Seminars in collaboration with the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Zurich (Link).

Entry Requirements

The seminar is primarily intended for students of Mathematical Biometry (Master). Students must have successfully followed the course Survival and Event History Analysis. Students interested in the seminar who have not yet taken the course may do so this summer term (Link).

Venue

The seminar will take place on site in Zurich with active participation of researchers and students from both Zurich and Ulm. A keynote lecture will be given by Hein Putter (Leiden University Medical Center).

Travel costs

Financial support will be available, but students will be required to account for some of their travel expenses. The current planning is that students will need to pay for the train travel themselves, but not for accommodation.
