Dr. Riesner (CFO Allianz Leben), Dr. Westhoff: Life insurance products of Allianz and representation in a stochastic cash flow model

Tag: 4. Juli 2024

Veranstalter : Institut für Versicherungswissenschaften

Description:

Allianz Leben offers private customers solutions for financial security in old age as well as coverage of occupational disability and care dependency. For corporate and business customers, Allianz Leben offers solutions for company pension schemes. Customers benefit from the financial strength, which is based on professional and globally oriented capital investment. In several applications, like Solvency II and IFRS17, long-term life insurance contracts, whose cash flows extend over several decades must be represented suitably in a model and aligned with the capital investment strategy. The presentation covers basics of the stochastic cashflow model by Allianz Leben. We focus on challenges in the implementation and application of such models, how to cover a huge portfolio of insurance contracts with a variety of options and guarantees and how to model management decisions in a broad spectrum of economic environments.

The talk will be followed by a get-together with drinks and sandwiches.
