The Institute for Software Engineering and Programming Languages at Ulm University is seeking an exceptional Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team for a duration of 3 years.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals with expertise in software engineering research areas that align with our institute's focus, e.g.,
The successful candidate is highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic, and has documented strong expertise (high-level publications) in the aforementioned topics as well as in software engineering and empirical research methods in general. We expect excellent scientific writing and oral communication skills, the ability to work independently and lead a team within the institute, as well as strong collaboration skills with external partners. German language proficiency is not required, but beneficial.
The position is 100% funded at the TV-L E13 level (starting with a gross salary of around 65K€ per year with additional employee benefits) for 3 years. The candidate might also be hired on an A13 level for that duration. The position is available immediately and applications will be considered until the position is filled. University is seeking a PhD student/ research associate (f/m/d) to extend our team
doing research and teaching on security and dependability of software-intensive
systems.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals with expertise in software engineering
research areas that align with our institute's focus, e.g.,
• Software and Systems Engineering
• Architecture-based Quality Analysis for Software-intensive Systems
• Modell-driven Development for Cyber-physical Systems
• Software Engineering for Adaptive, Intelligent and Learning-based Systems
• Software Engineering for IT Security, Privacy, Anonymization
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
• Above-average academic degree (Master) in computer science, mechatronics
or related fields
• Previous knowledge in software and system development
• Interest in new scientific questions
• Creativity and openness to interdisciplinary projects as well as willingness to
cooperate nationally and internationally with partners from academia and
practice
• Joy in taking on responsibility
• Oral and written communication skills, good knowledge of English, good
knowledge of German or the willingness to acquire them.
The position is 100% funded at the TV-L E13 level for 3 years.
