Das Institut für Organisation und Management von Informationssystemen (OMI) befasst sich mit der Organisation und dem Management sowie der Netzwerktechnik und den menschlichen Aspekten von IT-Systemen, insbesondere hinsichtlich der Forschungsgebiete Security and Privacy. Schwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen Internetzensur (Messung und Zensurumgehung), menschliche Aspekte vernetzter Sicherheit, Sicherheit vernetzter Automationssysteme (insbesondere Gebäudeautomationssysteme) und Network Information Hiding.
