The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) elected five new members to its Senate at its General Assembly in Bonn on July 6. The Senate has 39 members from the scientific and academic communities. The five new members have been elected for a term of three years.
The Senate is the statutory body of the DFG responsible for science policy.
