During his time at our institute, Thomas made significant contributions to the EVENTSproject22and the SecForCARs Project. His research work focused on developing novel algorithms to evaluate the reliability of tracking systems, utilizing the theory of subjective logic.
Throughout his PhD, Thomas specialized in sensor data fusion, filtering, signal processing, and environment perception for autonomous driving, with an emphasis on enhancing robust sensor fusion through monitoring and self-assessment of tracking algorithms.
We are excited that Thomas will continue to be part of our research institute over the coming months. Thank you, Thomas, for your inspiring work and contributions over the past years!
