Prof. Dr. Manfred Reichert ist Vorsitzender des Programmkomitees der 19th International Conference on Cooperative Information Systems (CoopIS 2011) , die vom 19. – 21. Oktober 2011 auf Kreta, Griechenland  stattfinden wird. Er wird diese Aufgabe zusammen mit seinen Kollegen Prof. Qing Li (City University of Hong Kong) und Prof. Akhil Kumar (Penn State University, USA) ausüben.

Die CoopIS-Tagungsreihe ist eines der international renommiertesten Foren zu Themen rund um kooperative und verteilte Informationssysteme. Die CoopIS’11- Tagung wird unter dem Motto „Dynamic, reliable and secure collaborative information technologies“ stehen.
