Augusto Urru

Augusto Urru studierte Industrial Engineering (B.Sc.) und Engineering and Industrial Management (M.Sc.) an der Universität Pisa (Università di Pisa - Italien) und schloss seinen Master im Jahr 2013 ab. Seitdem arbeitet er als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Hochschule Reutlingen. Kern seiner Forschungstätigkeit ist die Planung und Optimierung von innovativen Logistiksystemen (Intra- und Extralogistik), mit dem Schwerpunkt Automatisierung. Die Forschungsergebnisse übermittelt er in Lehrveranstaltungen und studentischen Unternehmensprojekten. Von 2013 - 2018 übte er eine Nebenbeschäftigung als Projektleiter und Berater am Institut für technische Logistik (2013 – 2018) aus.  Seit 2018 führt er diese Nebenbeschäftigung am Steinbeis Transferzentrum technische Logistik fort.

Als externer Doktorand in Kooperation mit der Hochschule Reutlingen untersucht Augusto Methoden und Prozesse zur Planung und Dimensionierung von komplexen Logistiksystemen und deren Anwendbarkeit im Unternehmen. In diesem Bereich arbeitet Augusto im Projekt ZAFH Intralogistik in Zusammenarbeit mit dem DBIS der Universität Ulm, um die Flexibilisierung von automatisierten Prozessen in der Intralogistik voranzubringen.
