Nowadays, paper & pencil questionnaires are used in various domains to collect data (e.g., psychology, e-learning, ...). However, this approach has issues as the data collected has to be transferred to electronic worksheets for subsequent evaluation. In this presentation, a lifecycle for questionnaires will be shown. Furthermore, several challenges for the different phases will be discussed. An architecture, covering these requirements and supporting domain-experts throughout the lifecycle of a questionnaire will be presented. This architecture will also introduce so called Process-Aware Questionnaires, enabling domain-experts to easily create and design their own questionnaires for data collection using smart mobile devices. This presentation will give an impression, on how to model such questionnaires and provide first results for an evaluation of this concept.
