In this talk, we present an approach for bridging the gap between business processes and process information, which is called process-oriented information logistics. Specifically, the contribution of this talk is threefold: First, we sketch the path from conventional information logistics to innovative, process-oriented information logistics. Second, we introduce basic concepts of process-oriented information logistics. Third, we demonstrate the application and benefits of our approach along three clinical use cases.
