Institut für Datenbanken und Informationssysteme (DBIS) wird im frühen Herbst 2014 die 
18th IEEE International EDOC Conference (EDOC 2014) an der Universität Ulm ausrichten. Die EDOC-Tagungsreihe gilt als das international renommierteste wissenschaftliche Forum im Bereich Enterprise Computing. Den Vorsitz der EDOC 2014 Konferenz (General Chair) wird Prof. Dr. Manfred Reichert übernehmen, der bereits Programmkomiteevorsitzender der EDOC 2013 in Vancouver war. IEEE EDOC 2014 – the “Enterprise Computing Conference” – will be the eighteenth conference in a series that provides the key forum for researchers and practitioners in the field of enterprise computing. EDOC conferences address the full range of models, methodologies, and engineering technologies contributing to intra- and inter-enterprise information systems. EDOC 2014 will be the 18th event in the series of EDOC conferences. Since 1997, EDOC has brought together leading computer science researchers, IT decision makers, enterprise architects, solution designers and practitioners to discuss enterprise computing challenges, models and solutions from the perspectives of academia, industry and government.
