After three predominantly digital semesters, we strive to offer as many courses as possible on campus in the winter semester 2021/2022. Key to an extensive return to our campus are vaccinations against the coronavirus. Achieving a high vaccination rate among students and staff is our best bet at creating the circumstances that will allow us to relax the distance rules in lecture halls and seminar rooms, and offer more courses and events on campus.
We would like to encourage those who have not yet had the opportunity to be immunised to take up our vaccination offer at Ulm University.
- On Monday, 19 July , and Wednesday, 21 July from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., a mobile vaccination team from the German Red Cross (DRK) will come to the Rapid Test Centre at the Mensa (south entrance).
- On Thursday, 22 July from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the mobile team will vaccinate at Uni West (WWP building).
You do not need to make an appointment. Please make sure to bring your vaccination passport and your health insurance card, however. The available vaccines will likely be Johnson & Johnson – where a single shot sufficient – and the mRNA vaccine from Moderna. For the mRNA vaccine, the German Red Cross team will announce a date for the second shot.
Please make use of this uncomplicated option at the University, or do get vaccinated at the vaccination centre or by your general practitioner. From now on, the offer for staff to receive their vaccination from the Occupational Medical Service remains in place for necessary second vaccinations only.
