Biopharmaceutical and Medical Engineering Sciences - Master's programme for working professionals (MSc)

The master’s programme for working professionals offers specialisations in Biotechnology, Biopharmaceutics, Drug Development and Medical Engineering. The programme teaches contents from science and technology as well as interdisciplinary competences. The curriculum includes topics from the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceutics, drug development, analytics and process optimisation. The contents are application- and research-oriented, enabling you to combine your work practice with academic education and transfer your theoretical and advanced knowledge to your work life.

The duration of the study programme depends on your individual study curriculum and is usually somewhere between 3 and 6 semesters.

More about the course

The curriculum is designed to meet the demands of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical engineering businesses by combining specialised academic competences with interdisciplinary approaches in project management, business management, marketing and law. Professors in Ulm and Biberach as well as experts from the practical fields of our study programme teach interdisciplinary specialist knowledge in a practice- and science-oriented way.
