Should the number of qualified applications exceed the number of available places, the selection will be made on the basis of a ranking list.

The ranking list is based on the following criteria:

  • average grade of the bachelor's degree, or average grade of the study achievements and exam results obtained up to the application cut-off date;

Taking the voluntary academic test improves your chances for admission greatly. Only applicants who fulfil the entrance requirements and receive an invitation two weeks prior to the test date may participate. The test usually takes place at the end of June and costs €30,00.

Further information about the test you can find at the course information.

Only applications received by the end of the application deadline will be considered in the main allocation procedure or subsequent procedure. If not all places can be filled in the main procedure, Ulm University will carry out a subsequent procedure considering the waiting list.

If there are still places available after all allocation procedures have been completed, a drawing of lots will take place.
