Prof. Dr.-Ing. Robert Fischer

Background

Since 2011 Dr. Robert Fischer has been full professor for communications and signal theory at the University of Ulm, Germany.

Currently, he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on signals and systems and on digital communications. His research concentrates on fast digital transmission including single- and multicarrier modulation techniques. Current interests are information theory, coded modulation, digital communications and signal processing, and especially precoding and shaping techniques for high-rate transmission schemes.
