In the preprint "All-Optical Spin Initialization via a Cavity Broadened Optical Transition in On-Chip Hybrid Quantum Photonics", we demonstrate the initialization of the spin state of a negatively charged silicon vacancy center (SiV-) in a nanodiamond simultaneously coupled to an on-chip photonic crystal resonator.
