The Institut für Quantenoptik was represented at the 2024 edition of the "Defects in Solids for Quantum Technologies" conference (DSQT2024), held in Budapest from June 10th to 14th.

This unique, one-week event provided broad coverage of current research on point defects in solid-state systems, including diamond, silicon carbide, and hBN. It also served as an excellent opportunity for our participants to present their research through several talks and posters.

In addition to the scientific program, attendees enjoyed a memorable Wednesday evening dining on the Danube, admiring the city's beautiful night views.

The participants extend their thanks to the organizers for making this event possible and look forward to the next edition!
