What does iGEM mean to you?: For me personally iGEM means a great opportunity to jointly research approaches to global problems. On the way to the goal we will be able to meet new people, learn from each other and push the boundaries of synthetic biology a bit further.
Why do you participate in the iGEM contest?: For me personally plastic pollution is a crucial issue and I want to make a contribution to a sustainable solution. Besides that I am glad to use the opportunity to improve my skills alongside my academic studies.
