Omniprobe is a fully automated, multi-purpose, nano-manipulator for TEM sample preparation or nano-mechanical manipulation and testing. In combination with Auto TEM software of FEI, a fast in-situ lift-out of thinned samples can be obtained. The Omniprobe allows extracting the prepared lamellae and attaching it to a TEM grid within the chamber using milling and deposition steps. On the grid, the lamellae can go through final thinning steps.
