Biochemistry

The following procedure applies to the recognition of external examination credits:

1. Fill out and sign Form Form 1 for each module that is to be recognized.
2. Show form 1 as well as the original certificate to the respective examiner of the University of Ulm and have form 1 signed.
3. Fill out Form 2.
4. Please send form 1 together with Form 2 by email to the examination board.

If multiple external exam credits are to be recognized and there is not enough space on the cover sheet (Form 2), please attach this follow-up form.

Before you want to apply for recognition of external examination achievements, please check the module descriptions in the module manual of the B.Sc. Biochemistry to see if the achievements you have made are equivalent.

*: Steps 1 and 2 do not apply if you:

• want to recognise achievements from a study programme at Ulm University that are also offered in the Bachelor Biochemistry
• have completed an apprenticeship (CTA, chemical laboratory assistant, chemical technician)

Biochemistry

Pharmaceutical Biotechnology

From Bachelor's degree programs with 210 credit points, up to 30 LP for courses of the first semester Master PBT can be recognized in case of equivalence. Courses in the higher semesters build on what was learned in the Bachelor and can therefore not be recognized.

The following procedure applies for the recognition of external examination credits:

• Complete and sign form 1 for each module that is to be recognized.
• Show form 1 as well as the original certificate to the respective examiner of the University of Ulm or the Biberach University of Applied Sciences and have form 1 signed.
• Please hand in form 1 together with form 2 to Ms. Annetraut Scheiffele (secretary's office of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology; room N27 2.076).

If several external examination achievements are to be recognized and the space on the cover sheet (Form 2) is not sufficient, please enclose this follow-up form.

ASQs

ASQs and comparable courses from other universities are generally not recognized if they already count towards the required LP in the Bachelor.

Industrial Biotechnology

For the recognition of external examination achievements, please fill out the application for recognittion of examination achievements of other study programs, have it signed by the respective module supervisor as well as the chairperson of the examination board (Prof. Dr. Sybille Ebert) and submit the application to the examination office of Biberach University of Applied Sciences.

Before you want to submit an application for recognition of external examination achievements, please check on the basis of the module descriptions in the module manual of the M.Sc. Industrial Biotechnology whether the achievements you have made are equivalent.
