Biology

Biology is one of the leading sciences of the 21st century.

At Ulm University, students in Biology, Biochemistry as well as Pharmaceutical and Industrial Biotechnology are trained in a practice- and research-oriented manner in accordance with the guiding principle of teaching. Our teaching content and qualification objectives are based on a solid scientific foundation.

The topics of our research focus "Stress response and resilience of biological systems" are incorporated into advanced modules of our teaching program. This prepares graduates of the above-mentioned degree programs for the global challenges - for example in connection with the consequences of climate change or in the health sector.
