From October 7 to 9, we had the honor of hosting the third “Process Design Symposium”. This exclusive event is alternately hosted by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jakob Burger (Chair of Chemical and Thermal Process Engineering, TU Munich), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Erik von Harbou (Laboratory of Reaction and Fluid Process Engineering, RPTU Kaiserslautern) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Grützner (Laboratory of Thermal Process Engineering, University of Ulm). It is intended for professional exchange, the strategic development of the field and the cultivation of the network. The program includes lectures, workshops and excursions as well as a joint hike. This year's excursion took us to the “Blautopf” and the company Boehringer Ingelheim invited us to Biberach for the excursion.
