In order to facilitate literature and compound related retrievals, the MOGADOC database consists of two files, a bibliographic one called MGDLIT and a substance file called MGDCOM. Both partial databases, which can be retrieved either by graphical user interfaces (GUI) or by a command language, are interconnected by hyperlinks.
