Harald Rose-Prize
Award for outstanding master’s theses and dissertations related to electron microscopy. The €3,000 prize is awarded annually on a rotating basis by TU Darmstadt and Ulm University.

Südwestmetall Sponsorship Awards
Award for outstanding doctoral dissertations with societal and industrial relevance. Each of the nine awards is endowed with €5,000 and is presented annually to doctoral candidates at the nine state universities of Baden-Württemberg – including Ulm University.
The aim is to support early-career researchers at the interface between academia and industry.
Doctoral Award of the Ulm University Society (UUG)
An award for outstanding doctoral achievements at Ulm University. Each of the up to nine annual prizes is endowed with €1,500 and presented by the Ulm University Society.
The goal is to recognize excellent scientific work and to motivate early-career researchers to further pursue their academic careers.
