We Change our Student Administration System - Portal Opening

Ulm University

Student administration has switched to the new HISinOne system

Ulm University's new campus portal is now available for students. The previous portal for studies and teaching has been partially replaced. After intensive preparation, the Student Administration Office and the teams "Project Development & Digital Transformation" and "Campus and Personnel Systems"  from the Information Systems Department at the kiz replaced our old HISSOS-GX system with the new HISinOne-STU between 23 April and 6 May 2024. We would like to thank the consultants of HIS eG and Campus Unity GmbH for their support.

Students can now use their kiz account to access the following services in the new Ulm University campus portal:

  • Print out certificates of enrolment , certificates of study progress and certificates of exmatriculation
  • Change address details
  • Find information about paying the semester fee

Students can now also use their kiz account to apply for an additional degree programme with restricted admission within the specified deadlines in the new Ulm University campus portal.

Links to the old examination portal and the course catalogue (Portal for Studies and Teaching) are also available.

ATTENTION: Applications for de-registration, leave of absence, change of degree programme, etc. must still be submitted in writing using the forms provided for this purpose.

Prospective students can register on the new Ulm University campus portal and apply for a degree programme within the specified application deadlines.

Examiners can use their functions as usual in the old portal for study and teaching.

Admissions committees can use their functions as usual in the new Ulm University campus portal.

We would like to thank all those affected by the changeover for their patience and understanding. We would also like to thank all colleagues involved in the changeover for their support and commitment.
