LabArchives ELN is a Electronic Research Notebook (ERN) solution, typically referred to as an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN). The ELN can improve quality, collaboration, accessibility, searchability, security, and efficiency when capturing research data.

LabArchives Inventory is a Lab Inventory and Sample Management solution integrated into the ELN. Inventory streamlines the organization, usage, tracking, and ordering of inventory items.

ELNs assist in:

  • Structuring, organizing and sharing experimental data.
  • Facilitating collaboration among and across teams and institutes. Increasing efficiency by providing templates, automated calculations, and quick search functionalities.
  • Data security by providing a safer way to store data compared to traditional paper notebooks.
  • Meeting regulatory and compliance standards by keeping an accurate and tamper-proof record of experiments. Streamlining lab workflows by integrating with other digital lab tools, instrumentation and inventory systems.
  • Complying with funding agency data-sharing requirements and data management plans.
