Online now: Konstantin Sparrer’s research objective
As reported earlier (see article from 26.11.2018: Boosting autophagy and career), Dr. Konstantin Sparrer, Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow at the Institute of Molecular Virology, had been awarded with a „Young Investigator Fund for Innovative Research Ideas“ of the Schering Stiftung and the Fritz Thyssen Foundation.
The Schering Stiftung and the Fritz Thyssen Foundation promote science with a focus on life sciences. Their „Young Investigator Fund for Innovative Research Ideas“ is intended to support highly motivated young investigators who wish to pursue an independent career. They recently published an article about Konstantin and his project:

Konstantin Sparrer’s project is closely associated with CRC1279 and aims to identify human peptides that boost anti-viral autophagy. The grant provides excellent support for his junior research group.
