Annual review "Jahrbuch Literatur und Medizin" (JLM)
The annual review Jahrbuch Literatur und Medizin (JLM) is interested in the manifold correlations of medicine, literature, and the arts. With this focus on the artistic dimensions of Medical Humanities, the JLM strives to bring empirical medical sciences into dialog with the humanities. This also involves an anthropological and humane approach to the sick and the disease, insofar as literature and the arts can be made fruitful for the therapeutic process.
The JLM welcomes:
I. Original articles
II. Essays
III. Sources
IV. Book reviews
Original articles are subjected to a double blind peer review process. The annual is accompanied by the supplemental series Jahrbuch Literatur und Medizin. Beihefte, which publishes scientific monographs or conference proceedings relevant to the research field.
