Are you studying at the Faculty of Mathematics and Economics and thinking about studying abroad for one or two semesters? Would you like to know what options there are and how the recognition of your service performances abroad takes place in Ulm? With Erasmus+, students from our faculty can study at over 60 universities in Europe. You can find out which universities are currently eligible for your study/degree programme in the Mobility database.

With bilateral programmes and the Baden-Württemberg programmes, you can spend a period abroad anywhere in the world. An overview of these programmes is available from the International Office.

 

The faculty's USA exchange programme is unique. Students from mathematics-oriented study/degree programmes can acquire a Master's degree from the US partner university - in addition to their Master's degree from Ulm.

Thanks to our cooperation with the prestigious Fudan University in Shanghai (ranked 36th worldwide in the THE Ranking), students can complete a double degree (Master's) from Fudan University and Ulm University.

The Faculty also has a double degree programme with Taras Shevchenko National University in Kiev.

Stay abroad - planning and counselling

The lead time for a stay abroad can be over a year. You should therefore find out about deadlines, requirements etc. well in advance. For general information on the choice of host country, scholarship opportunities and application deadlines, please contact the International Office at Ulm University.

The mobility database is very helpful. Here you can not only see which host universities are suitable for your study/degree programme - you can also view experience reports from students.
