Doctoral School 2025

Engaged Research Design for Sustainability

University of Limerick, Ireland: January 20 - 24, 2025

Virtual Learning Phase: until April 25, 2025

The University of Limerick (Ireland) and the YERUN network have jointly organized the Doctoral School 2025, titled  ‘Engaged Research Design for Sustainability’.

This program offers a unique opportunity for early-stage PhD students to develop the skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to address the complex challenges facing our world today. Through an interdisciplinary, place-based learning experience, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how their research can contribute to addressing these pressing issues. The aim of this training programme is to facilitate PhD students in building transdisciplinary relationships with peers and mentors, to enable collaborative learning, and the exploration of stakeholder engagement in their research.
