The Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Developing PhD students’ linguistic and intercultural skills in the AI-based era” is coordinated by the University of Alba Iulia / Romania and hosted by Donau-Universität Krems / Austria. The two universities are partners in the alliance EU.ACE.

The event is hosted in the format of an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme, consisting of an onsite-phase in Krems from May 18 - 23, 2025, and a virtual learning phase on May 8 and June 13, 2025.

PhD students, who are fully enrolled at Ulm University and who participate in the complete programme (including virtual learning phase) are eligible for a scholarship for a short term mobility from the Erasmus+ programme. The scholarship amounts vary between € 553 and € 1.289, depending on a number of factors:
A total of three scholarships have been reserved for participants in this BIP. The grants will be awarded on a first come - first serve basis.
