Welcome to Ulm!

Looking to get your studies off to a good start? Then please stop by our welcome programming! During these events, you will meet other new students and learn how to set yourself up for success during your time in Ulm: academically, socially and personally. Students who attend welcome events are generally more successful in their studies, and when problems do arise, they know where to turn for help. Invest in your success and take part in our welcome events!

Who should come to our events? New international students from all study programs and all students in English-speaking master programs are welcome to join us! The language for all events is English and programming is free of charge. Please be sure to check out the orientation programming offered by your study program as well!

Still have questions?

Overwhelmed by all of the events?

In addition to the events offered by your study program, please prioritize the Welcome Day on March 9th, 2026; if you cannot make it on that day, we are planning to offer an additional Welcome Day on April 10th, 2026. No prior registration is necessary for these two events!
