The bus and tram stop Botanischer Garten are in the immediate vicinity of the International Office and are served by the following tram and bus lines:
From Munich or Stuttgart via Motorway A8: Leave the A8 at the exit Ulm West. Drive on the B10 in the direction of Ulm/Friedrichshafen. Leave the B10 at the exit Wissenschaftsstadt – Universität. After approx. 1 km turn left at the traffic light into Albert-Einstein-Allee. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout to get to Helmholtzstraße.
From Nuremberg or Würzburg via Motorway A7: Change motorways at the Elchingen junction from A7 to A8 in the direction of Stuttgart. Leave the A8 at the exit Ulm West. Drive on the B10 in the direction of Ulm/Friedrichshafen. Leave the B10 at the exit Wissenschaftsstadt – Universität. After approx. 1 km turn left at the traffic light into Albert-Einstein-Allee. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout to get to Helmholtzstraße.
From Kempten or Memmingen via Motorway A7: Leave the A7 at the Hittistetten junction in the direction of Ulm. Drive through Ulm on the B10. Leave the B10 at the exit Wissenschaftsstadt – Universität. After approx. 1 km turn left at the traffic light into Albert-Einstein-Allee. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout to get to Helmholtzstraße.
There is no free parking on campus. Some parking lots are closed with boom barriers and are accessible only to staff and students (with ID). For visitors, the parking deck Parkhaus Mitte (P20 on the map) is recommended.
The nearest international airports are located in Munich and Stuttgart. Regular S-Bahn (suburban train) connections bring you to the Hauptbahnhof (main train station), where you can catch trains to Ulm.
But also from Frankfurt Airport there are fast and often direct train connections to Ulm.
Besides, there are the Allgäu Airport in Memmingen and the Bodensee Airport in Friedrichshafen, from where you can continue to Ulm by regional trains.
