The Industrial Biotechnology study/degree programme offers sound, future-oriented training; (akad: ) education that optimally prepares students for a career in industry and research. Our graduates develop specialised knowledge and practical skills, supplemented by transferable skills such as teamwork, project management and presentation techniques. In addition, our graduates learn to act in a scientific and responsible manner - both in their appointments and in society. An ideal foundation for an innovative and sustainable future.
The cooperative study/degree programme combines the reinforcements of both higher education institutions and creates optimal conditions for success. Two semesters at Biberach University of Applied Sciences offer practical study content, while the semester at Ulm University focuses on scientific topics. This combination facilitates entry into industry and at the same time opens up paths for a scientific career. The master's thesis, carried out in a company or at one of the two higher education institutions, provides targeted preparation for the transition from studying to working life.
The study/degree programme is administered by Biberach University of Applied Sciences.
