In 2015 he received his Master's degree in Informatics at the Otto-von-Guericke University and has since been working as a research associate at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany and later at the Harz University of Applied Sciences Wernigerode, Germany.
He defended his dissertation "Efficient Interactive and Automated Product-Line Configuration" in June 2022 at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg under the supervision of Gunter Saake.
In his research, he investigates techniques and analyses for variability modeling, configuration management, and software product line testing.
He (co)authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and is part of the development team of the open-source project FeatureIDE.
