Eleana Georgiou

Eleana Georgiou studied Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. After applying for an Erasmus scholarship, she had the chance to study for the spring semester of 2008 at the University of Koblenz-Landau in Germany. In 2010, she was accepted at the University of Bremen, where she received her M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology. For her Master Thesis she chose to elaborate on the topic: "Intercultural comparison among Greeks and Germans, as far as empathy, trust and personality traits are concerned". Since 2005, she had the opportunitx to serve her internship in different psychiatric institutes, not only in Germany, but also in Greece. Since May 2013, she has been working as a research assistant in the department of Clinical & Health Psychology at the University of Ulm, for the project "Join the Healthy Boat" of the Baden-Württemberg foundation.

During SS 2016 she was a VSR at the SPL of Stanford University under the supervision of Prof. J. Gross, where she was involved in different projects. Since 2016 she is doing her psychotherapeutic training in CBT.
