Convenient bus connections are available from almost all hotels in the city center to the university.

The ibis hotel (single room is about 65 € per night) as well as the ibis budget (ETAP) hotel (single room is about 50 € per night) are situated at the bus stop “Theater” where tram no.2 or bus no. 5 take you in approx. 10 minutes to the University. Likewise from the hotel Intercity the University is reachable with the same bus nos. in approx. 12 minutes. If you book a hotel room at the hotel IBIS or at the Intercity Hotel ask for specific conditions for guests of the University. These could be cheaper than the normal rates which depends on how early you make your reservation.

If you would like to spend your nights at a 4-star hotel you can book a room at Maritim Ulm. From there the arrival to the University will take a little more time. Directly in front of the hotel on the opposite side of the street is the bus stop for bus no. 6 located. These busses are heading directly for “Universität Süd”.

At the bus stop “Universität Süd” you have to exit the bus and change to bus no. 5. Another 4-star option would be the LAGO, with an again longer travel time to the University (but therefore it has a very good restaurant - michelin star). To travel to the University take the tram (line 1 - Direction "Söflingen") and change at "Theater" to lines 3 or 5 as described above.
