Jana Funke, M.Sc.

Jana Funke joined the HCI group in June 2021 as a research associate and PhD student. Her research focus is on support and motivation for exercise and sports in HCI using extended reality (XR).

Jana holds a M. Sc. in Media Informatics (2021) from the University of Ulm. She completed her master's thesis in cooperation with the Lennard Nacke and Katja Rogers from the University of Waterloo. The title of the master thesis was: Social Aspects of Virtual Reality Traveling Through Spectatorship.
