On the occasion of a broadcast event about the new master programme Artificial Intelligence at Ulm University, Patrik Puchert, member of the research group Visual Computing, Institute of Media Informatics, presented first results of his research.
Mr Puchert investigates in the identifcation of complex activity patterns by means of smart sensors useful for geriatric rehabilitation (AKTISmart KI). The thus labeled project consists of a cooperation of the work groups of Prof. Dr Timo Ropinski, Prof. Dr Enrico Rukzio (both Institute for Media Informatics, Ulm University), Prof. Dr Florian Steger (History, Philosophy and Ethics of Medicine, Ulm University, Ulm University), Prof. Dr Jochen Klenk (Robert Bosch Hospital, Stuttgart) and Prof. Dr Alexandra Jorzig (IB-Hochschule Berlin) which is funded by the federal ministry of health.
The TV broadcast includes a demonstration of a 3D body represenation, which is enregistered by body worn sensors.
