Together with Artem Polyvyanyy (University of Melbourne), Moe Thandar Wynn (Queensland University of Technology) and Amy van Looy (Ghent University), Manfred Reichert is Program Committee Chair of the 19th International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM 2021), which will take place in Rome from 6 to 10 September 2021. Manfred further plays the role of the BPM 2021 Consolidation Chair who serves as bridge between the BPM steering committee and the BPM 2021 General Chair. i.e., Massimo Mecella (Sapienza Università di Roma).
Manfred has been well connected to the BPM conference series since its first edition. He was General Chair of the BPM’09 conference in Ulm, PC Co-Chair of the BPM’08 conference in Milan, General Workshop Co-Chair of the BPM 2015 conference in Innsbruck, Doctoral Consortium Co-Chair of the BPM’12 / BPM’20 conferences in Tallinn / Seville, and Tutorial Chair of the BPM’16 / BPM’18 conferences in Rio de Janeiro / Sydney. Furthermore, he published many outstanding papers in this renowned conference series. In the BPM 2012 conference, together with Stefanie Rinderle-Ma and Peter Dadam, he received the first BPM Test of Time Award. Finally, he was invited keynote speaker of the BPM 2018 conference in Sydney.
