Together with Berthold Langguth and Winfried Schlee from the University of Regensburg, Marc Schickler, Manfred Reichert, Rüdiger Pryss and Johannes Schobel (Ulm University) co-authored a book on the development of mobile apps, which was recently published by Springer.
The book provides fundamental insights into the development of platform-independent mobile applications for smart devices. It presents relevant concepts, techniques and challenges and illustrates them along the development of a sophisticated mobile application from the e-halth domain. In this context, recurrent issues and patterns in the development of mobile apps are discussed. Furthermore, relevant programming concepts, development frameworks, and implementation mechanisms are presented in detail. Altogether, readers get detailed insights into mobile app development, which enable them to manage respective projects more effectively in future.
