Prof. Dr. Manfred Reichert is PC Co-Chair of the 19th International Conference on COOPERATIVE INFORMATION SYSTEMS (CoopIS 2011)  which takes place in Crete, Greece  from Oct 19 - 21, 2011. Manfred will share this task with his colleagues Prof. Qing Li (City University of Hong Kong) and Prof. Akhil Kumar (Penn State University, USA).

The CoopIS conference series has established itself as a major international forum for exchanging ideas and results on scientific research for practitioners in fields such as computer supported cooperative work (CSCW), middleware, Internet & Web data management, e-commerce, business process management, agent technologies, and software architectures, to name a few. The 2011 edition of CoopIS will have "Dynamic, Reliable and Secure Collaborative Information Technologies" as background theme.
