European CHRODIS+ Joint Action: Meeting at Ulm University

Dr. Rüdiger Pryss from the Institute of Databases and Information Systems (DBIS) organized a two-day consortium meeting of the European Joint Action CHRODIS+ at Ulm University on 18 – 19 June 2018. In this meeting, more than 40 high-ranking representatives from European health ministries and research organizations exchanged their views on implementing sustainable practices for chronic diseases.

Backgrounds

In the Joint Action CHRODIS+, in which 42 organizations from 18 European countries participate, it will be investigated how chronic diseases can be better treated or even prevented in future. In this context, the working group of Dr. Pryss will develop advanced infrastructures and mobile apps, which shall fundamentally improve the situation of chronically ill patients in future.
